Maybe once the demand for the device dies down they&#039;ll go ahead and lower the price. That is pretty crazy though. The 16GB model over hear will be $699 for those that don&#039;t want to buy it on an AT&amp;T account. Luckily we were able to get our 16GB for $299 since AT&amp;T subsidized it.

I&#039;m sure you&#039;ll be getting more soon. As of last night almost all Apple stores in the United States had the 16GB black iPhone 3G in stock, which should mean they&#039;ve got plenty to go around here. I&#039;m wondering what the AT&amp;T stores are like in terms of stock though.</description>
