When I installed gmail mobile I was trembling with happiness for 2 days until I realized that I am using two separate programs to check all of my mails, just because gmail mobile can only check Gmail of course. For my other accounts I use Movamail http://movamail.com/ and I don’t know why I should use gmail mobile just to check one specific mail account when I can check all of my accounts with only one app. I often check my mail when I am outdoors and Gmail I one of many.
