I have never tried this before so I cannot vouch for the truthfulness behind it, but apparently Adobe Photoshop will recognize currency and prevent the user from being able to manipulate it. This makes perfect sense because of the power of Photoshop and the number of professional editors that use Photoshop. It will also recognize credit cards and Euro notes. If any of the above is recognized then Photoshop will prompt you saying that it does not support “the unauthorized processing of banknote images”. Pretty soon they will have Photoshop recognize convicted criminals and when they try to change their image in Photoshop then it will alert the Police (that is just my thought though based on this article 
).

I’m a convicted criminal and I change my picture all the time with Photoshop. Doesn’t seem to be a problem yet…
Like any attempt at stopping criminals, it’s totally useless. Just Google Photoshop banknote patch, run it and the restriction is removed… The only people this ‘feature’ hurts are designers who need to use images of money in their layouts or ads. Lame Adobe, lame.

I don’t think that could ever work seeing as how anybody can open up an image of anyone they want. Just because someone opened up the image of a convicted criminal doesn’t mean that the person editing the image is the criminal.
