Another option is that you could cache the ranking for a period of time, such as a day, so that you didn't have to query Alexa so much for the really popular results. We are working on a solution that will monitor your current scrollbar position and only grab results based on current location. The other option is to not grab PR and Alexa for anything paste #20 per page.
