Amazon is just too worried that another site is using their data but providing their information in a better format than they can themselves. When Alexa overhauled the interface a few months back I remember seeing them implement a lot of the things people loved about Statsaholic. I’m sure at that time they thought they would draw back the people who stopped using Alexa. Now they are just getting worried.

I’m now hearing that Amazon did offer to acquire Statsaholic– but I haven’t heard much else as far as details go. Definitely would have solved the problem.

Amazon should have just bought Statsaholic, problem solved. I’m sure it would have been cheaper than the legal fees.
