Well, we'll see if the new deep scan penetrated to the core of whatever thing was(/hopefully not sill currently is) infectious prob'ly. seems to exhibit a few similar symptoms of other nasty ones i've had a steep learning curve to learn how to kill. reproducing itself and planting its reproducing babies somewhere in your boot file so that other programs that clean your system and say will be clean upon reboot don't work because it reseeds itself upon boot, very nasty one to get, but not impossible to kill if i can recollect kerrectly. no system wipe was required. i thought malware bytes was my cure then, but now...? i'm losing a lil' faith in it. Oh! and killbox was and is still definitely an indispensable tool, although i haven't tried file assassin yet i hear good things about it. the key was to google the suspicious file names and also to execute them with my killbox. just don't go crazy with it.

also Trojan Remover didn’t detect a thing, while Emsisoft Anti-Mal(Free)ware deep scan found and successfully quarantined a dozen infections which none of my other softwares seemed to mention, but what do you know? none of those had the same location or name as the files my malware bytes detected but could not delete upon reboot 2 or 3 times. and the files my eset nod 32 have been detecting are totally different ones too…maybe deletion and reinstallation of these program will help. Got into Avast... then when my Avast program got infected... Switched to ESET NOD32. Has been very reliable up until now. Malware bytes was the bomb until this latest infection, it found an infection, said it was in my registry listed as the NOD32 processes. Starting to think my NOD32 might be infected the way my Avast got infected. Malware bytes found 2 infections it said it could not remove. Could be cuz antivirus is active processes and therefore inaccessible to deletion. (if it is my antivirus that is infected, which definitely DID happen to my Avast and why I immediately stopped using that one) said it would delete upon reboot, but i click ok, reboot n repent, then infection not removed. X/ Read several forums threads, the fix solution seemed risky but I tried Combofix. Combofix deleted some files ('puter still works thank you lord) but Combofix did not fix my system. Just wasted my time. Maybe uninstalling and reinstalling my NOD32 (which has had great success many times at PREVENTING INFECTION B4 IT OCCURS) will be the solution. Or possibly switching to another program. Maybe certain hackers have gotten in to see the program I use and are specifically targeting that defense so using a new method they will not be expecting is the correct solution. the virus kept redirecting my google search links to some get-answers-fast site everytime. Well as I am typing ESET NOD32 is saying it caught and cleaned another Trojan file. Well it seems to keep doing that but not finding the source of the problem as more differnt names of infected files keep appearing, seems like it is hiding and spreading its' nasty infection to other places. Superantispyware found nothing.

I have had major problems with AVG, Avira, F-Secure, McCaffee, & Norton in trying to detect and kill infections. What you bought is probably a standalone product from AVG: http://www.avg.com/us-en/internet-security.

I think you are a bit mistaken, AVG Threat Labs ([avgthreatlabs.com]) is not a product, but a website providing free threat report and website ratings. This program has always done well on my PC and is quick to pick up and remove any malicious content that comes into my computer. I would not change from AVG to any other program. I now have it on Windows 7 and it is so quick scanning etc.

I have used AVG free for years and then started paying for the paid version which is cheap for a two year license.
