Is it really necessary to report rumors about rumors? From what I read, there is nothing to this.

I think that there could be some talks about a subscription service…think about how many people would jump on that! If they are looking to take out the competition then this is definitely the route to go. Maybe if Apple sees the demand for a subscription service then they will begin working on it…after all, they are finally getting some DRM free music after people complained for long enough!

Is it really necessary to report rumors about rumors? From what I read, there is nothing to this.

There are many instances when rumors have turned out to be true. I’ve read both those who think that this is a possibility, and those that say this is bogus. I found it interesting and thought others might as well. I also thought it might spark a conversation about subscription services and whether they hold a place in the media industry.

iTunes has been extremely successful with their method of selling media, and I’m not sure a subscription service would necessarily benefit them.
