I am married with two children, so therefore, we were expecting $1800 (because we make under $150,000 combined). I guess I should of thought twice about us really getting $1800. We will only get $1200 because we were limited to the amount of the 2007 Net Income Tax Liability. We received too many tax credits on student loans, daycare, and our home loan when filing our 2007 tax refund. Due to us getting those tax breaks we end up getting a less than expected $1800 rebate check. Basically the government is taking back what they previously credited us. They always find a loop hole. Nothing like screwing the middle class once again!!!!!! We are the ones who need the money because we do have home loans, school loans, child care exspenses!!!!!! Maybe we would of like to buy a FLAT SCREEN TV! No we will be using the less than expected check on GAS, FOOD, UTILITIES. Maybe the extra $600 could of been spent on a TV! If you have a car, the price of gas will start to eat away at it quickly. If you don't have a car the price of food will be chipping away at it. One commodity or the other will get this "Money", back into the economy. But it will be cute too look at and hold onto for a little while.
