AtomChip Super Notebook Computer - For Only $18,500

If you have some spare cash lying around (that is, enough to buy a new car) then you might want to look into the Super Notebook Computer from AtomChip. This baby comes with 1TB of RAM, 2TB storage, 6.8GHz processor (AtomChip® Quantum® II processor), digital camera, wireless (of course), and much much more. They packed all of this in and it only weighs a little over 4 pounds! Guess Dell’s new XPS machine doesn’t look so powerful now, huh?

  1. you guys realize this is a scam, right?

  2. I would also believe that it is a scam, but what throws me off is that they won an award at CES in 2005 for their computer with 100GB/250GB of RAM:

  3. 8O this notebook is wonderful 1 tb of RAM and 2 tb of hd…..i want one

  4. I think we all want one. :)

  5. I wrote to the Westbury NY lab of Atom Chip Computer patent holder Dr. Shimon Gendlin, formerly of Kappa Numerics in Israel, hoping to pick up a reconditioned Quantum Optical Atom Chip Computer, but the person who replied to me said that the computer is sold only to US Army researchers, at price of $20,000 per unit. So it is not available to civilians today yet as far as I know. So the CES award “consumer electronics” part is not quite right; the “consumer” is not usually thought of as being restricted to US Army researchers. Not sure what can be done with a quantum optical computer but I guess someone is finding out as we speak. Please note that the Atom computer which is being marketed by Intel, is not(??) the same as the Atom Chip Computer developed by Dr. Shimon Gendlin; I think this “Atom” computer trademarking by Intel was a marketing/trademark end run by Intel which will not work to sell to any consumer who is looking forward to Atom Chip Computer, if it exists. It would be fun to know the inside story on that. I tend to think Gendlin is for real, but cannot prove anything yet, until I get one of his computers and incorporate it into my kinemassic field propulsion starship.
