1GB of VRAM... that will be costly. ;)

That's my thinking, too. The fact that Netscape just took a dive should be a pretty good indication that the browser market is pretty full right now.

Count me in! ;) It's probably free only after a mail-in rebate as well, huh?

I'm a sucker when it comes to eye candy, but they have added it in areas that I hardly use. I almost never use the browser's history feature, and it seems like it would take awhile to navigate your bookmarks with that interface. The eye candy that I really enjoy is the stuff that also makes you more productive, and I'm not sure that this really would.

Ha ha..it's funny because it's true. ;)

It does look really fun. If Pogo was stable I would try it. It's always nice to see a company being innovative in an area that has the potential to impact millions of users. Let's be honest, who doesn't enjoy a little eye-candy?

I saw the review on Ars, and thought to myself "Why??" We already have IE7/8Beta, FF 2.x/3.0Beta5, Flock 1.1, Opera 9.x, Safari 3.x, and then some others like K-Meleon, Maxton, and Avant. So do we really need a browser from AT&T, especially when it takes up so much resources, more than some PC games! Just doesn't make sense.

My experience with "minimum system requirements" is that the system will operate with the specified hardware, but don't expect it to operate very well - in this case, "wanna get nostalgic and take a trip back to dial-up internet?" Based on their minimum requirements, I would expect that to get the browser to function normally, you would want a 2GHz dual core CPU, 4GB RAM, and 1GB VRAM. And don't forget 512MB HDD space to install it.
