Yahoo Offers Instant Search — Search Results As You Type

Yahoo is one of the leading search engines and to compete with their rivals they now offer an 'Instant' Search. It is interesting to try but is nothing you would want to use as your main search engine. It will only show one result as you are typing in your search which doesn't make it very useful.

Test Firefox 3.0 Alpha 1 … Yes, That Says 3.0!

While browsing the FTP for Firefox nightlies, I found that they now have Firefox 3.0 Alpha 1 on there. Many people are going to say "wait, Firefox 2.0 hasn't been released". Yes, you are correct, but that doesn't stop them from working on future versions of the browser. Just like Microsoft is working on the next version of Windows (named Vienna) while Windows Vista hasn't even been released.
