I hope I don’t sound like a troll; I’ve worked with Windows PCs and PocketPC (2002, 2003)/Windows Mobile (5, 6.x) for rather a long time now and the Mac and its peripherals are just better – their use of system resources is much tighter, as is stability, and speed too. (no way should a high end Q9650 (@ 3.6GHz), 8GB DDR2-800 of RAM (at CAS 4-4-4-12), and a 10000RPM hard drive running vista be slower than OS X on a 24″ imac… but it is… by some margin… )

Those players are nice, but I haven’t come across any media players that can match the fluid touch-screen interface that Apple has developed.

It was Creative who invented the iPod interface and who’s ZEN players are better than the iPod.

I think paying $500 for a mobile phone is a rip off. You can almost buy a decent computer for that same amount. I think there a lots of other ways to get more bang for your buck.

The iPhone essentially is a computer. I’m sure many would agree with you though that there are better ways to spend money. To think, the 16GB is priced at what the 4GB was back in June when it launched! From that standpoint, people are getting more bang for their buck by purchasing the 16GB iPhone.
