Wanted to provide an update on enhancements we've made to the site since we launched:- we now include the cost to fly for trips +200 miles - we've added another 10 years of vehicle data (to 1990) - we now include premium and diesel fuel prices - we've added details around how we pull gas prices and calculate costsWe hope you check out the enhancements and let us know what you think! First, the price of gas used was off by at least $0.50 per gallon. Second, the data provided for my vehicle was incorrect. It used a gas tank capacity of 19 gallons and the actual is just over 16.Cannot recommend in it's current configuration. Too bad - a nice idea and I'd hoped it might make it easy to decide which state in which to get gas for a longer trip. I ran a typical trip and found major errors.
