CyberWare: GMarks Gets A Nice Update

As many of you know by now I use Google Bookmarks to manage all of my favorite sites. I used to use the Firefox extension called Google Bookmarks Button until I happen to stumble upon GMarks. Unlike the button, GMarks is an extension that will show all of your bookmarks in your sidebar along with a nice search box that will filter your results as you type.

Feedreader 3 – My New Favorite RSS Reader

I have been using the GreatNews RSS Reader for exactly two months and it has been pretty good. I wasn't looking to switch to a new feed reader until I stumbled upon the cleverly named Feedreader. It looked so clean and simple that I felt like I had to give it a try...and of course it is free!

Windows has a built-in process explorer that isn't exactly targeted for power users. It only shows you the basic information that you need and nothing else. If you are want to know more about what's going on in your computer then you should download the free Process Explorer by Sysinternals.

CyberWare: Virtual Dimension Adds Virtual Desktops To Windows

Virtual desktops seem to be a must for any operating system because they allow you to reduce the clutter that you see on the screen. I have never even seen a distribution of Linux that doesn't come with virtual desktops built-in.

CyberWare: Backup Windows Drivers With DriverMax

One of the biggest things that I hate when reinstalling Windows is hunting down all of my drivers. I eventually got clever enough where I downloaded all of the drivers I needed and put them on a CD. Then each time I needed them they were always easy to find. Well, it looks like I was taking a completely wrong approach.

CyberWare: Start Your Programs In A Flash With Launchy

A few days ago when I wrote up an article on WinRoll "Nate The Great" commented with a few programs that he really likes. One of those programs was Launchy and I thought I'd give it a shot since it sounded useful.

WinRoll: Collapse Your Programs Like Google Talk

One of the coolest, and probably unknown, features in Google Talk is the ability to click on the title bar of a chat window and to have it collapse. It doesn't exactly minimize the window but makes it smaller so that you reclaim your desktop space but you can also easily re-open the chat.

CyberWare: Citrus Alarm Clock Gently Wakes You Up

It is probably as hard for you to get up in the morning as it is for me. I used to set an alarm on my television and I would place the remote right next to the TV so that I had to get up in order to turn the alarm off. That did a great job of getting me up...until I got a new TV and it didn't have that feature.
