It's Christmas and we just wanted to take a minute to tell those of you celebrating it, to have a wonderful day! We're going to assume that many of you were given electronic gadgets and other goodies as gifts, so feel free to tell us what you got. This year Santa brought us a Canon Rebel XSi camera, and so far it seems to be a pretty nice camera!

Recently I have become more aware of people around me who are struggling to transition into the digital age. For example, I was recently introduced to someone who uses email to communicate, only because they have to for work. If it were up to them, they wouldn't use it at all. What's worse is that this person prints a copy of every single email they receive, not for recording purposes though.

When Ryan and I originally planned out the schedule for this Giveaway, we thought we'd have no problem announcing the winners on the site by Friday at 8:00 PM Central Time. We thought wrong! There were over 80 people to notify via email that they won, before announcing the winners on the site. Believe it or not, several emails were returned to us which meant that we needed to pick new winners.

At the time, Remember the Milk had been around for about a year and they were still in the process of making a name for themselves. Hi guys (and gals!)! We've been getting emails over the last month or so asking what we've been up to since we cut back our writing schedule. Now that life has calmed down (a little), we thought we'd share just what it is that's filling our time these days.

Back around 1999 and 2000 when Napster was place to go when you wanted to get your hands on music, we certainly wouldn't have expected that almost 10 years later, they'd have gone through so much yet still able to survive. Not only that, we wouldn't have expected that out of anybody that could have acquired the service, that it would be Best Buy.

Who would have expected that RIM, makers of the BlackBerry, would turn to Microsoft, a rival of theirs (Windows Mobile), for a partnership? We didn't expect it, but it happened. Just today the companies announced that Microsoft Live Search would be available on the BlackBerrys sometime this year.

It's Labor Day here in the United States, the unofficial end to Summer, so we just wanted to take a minute to tell those of you celebrating Labor Day to have a great day! I don't know about where you live, but where we are in the Chicago suburbs, there's no end to Summer in sight. In fact, we're having some of the warmest weather we've had yet this year.

During the days when CyberNet was a hobby for Ryan and I, there was an excitement to reporting on the the latest tech news, for fun. Once we graduated college and made CyberNet our full-time job, some of that excitement seemed to disappear.
