Ahh, here we are. In my time zone we’re just moments away from celebrating a New Year! I wish everyone the best as we venture into the unknown and get a fresh start. If you decide to make a New Year’s resolution….stick with it because at the end of next year you will be so much happier!

The Pirate Bay was the talk of the month since they had their servers seized and then quickly returned to them after authorities found no illegal content. To help crack down on piracy Microsoft also updated their Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) process to check for counterfeit versions of Windows XP…which unexpectedly identified legitimate versions of Windows as counterfeit.
