It looks nice, and is good to see competition to WordPress, but it seemed a little too “WordPress-but-with-this-cut-out” to me. Then again I’m hugely biased as my CMS will be released soon with full theme support etc. so I want people to use mine instead of this

I can’t wait to see what the final product is like. Do you plan on including plugin support with your CMS?

WordPress is definitely more powerful and for those who already use it and are used to it, they probably won’t be interested in anything new. For those who are just starting a personal blog for fun, Chyrp might be nice for them simply because it is simple and it will be easier to get used to than WordPress.

I just took a look at this blogging platform but was not impressed at all. I think I’ll keep on using WordPress. They seem more professional and with a lot more features.

Just my 2 cents on the blogging application.
