The new AIM chat feature is coming very soon and there is a screen shot of what it’ll look like. It’ll be first available as an opt-in beta version, so that users can switch back and forth between it and the production version, on-the-fly.

Yahoo! still says I have a 1 GB limit. Of course I am using 0% of that.

Yah, it depends on your farm. Y! rolls out updates very slowly.

Technically it Aol already has Imap (for Thunderbird and Live Mail desktop), and hopefully it’ll be better than Yahoo!’s bullshitty “unlimited mail”. I tried backing up 37 GB of mail there, and it canceled my account. “Your account has been canceled due to the following reason: spam folder exceeded”. WTF?! If they can’t live up to the name, don’t advertise it.

Wow! 37GB of email is a lot, but you’re right that they shouldn’t advertise something that they can’t deliver on.
