That’s exactly what my current configuration is. I have Vista installed as my primary operating system on my main computer, and then Ubuntu installed in another partition on the same drive. Then I also have other computers with other operating systems installed, but I don’t get around to using those much.

Actually Dell offers almost all of their computers with either XP or Vista.

I would say 25% is definately a possible number for their advertising revenue – Google’s advertising revenue makes up a larger share and there’s no reason why M$, with some help, couldn’t get a decent share even if they can’t beat Google. Who knows, if they can further the deal and buy Facebook…

If they could buy Facebook – wow, what a deal that would be. But considering how much it took to get under 2% of the company? I’m not sure Facebook is willing to give it all up quite yet.

I think Microsoft’s partnerships will definitely help their advertising audience. That means that they now have a deal with both Digg and Facebook for advertising.
