I've used this to convert entire seasons of TV shows with subtitles embedded (I'm deaf) - something SUPER couldn't do, despite the deluge of options.

The only issues I've had with this are codec related: If you can get Windows Media Player to view the video, chances are it'll encode fine. The small .exe is because it depends a lot on the codecs you have installed - I've found that while I use KMPlayer (with lots of built in codecs) it's best to install the free version of DIVX and avoid codec packs - they might work and probably do, but they're a real pain to troubleshoot.
