Good stuff! Seems like more and more of these solutions are finally available. I've been using MioNet and liking it too. Integrates with windows so all of your remote pcs just show up as if they were local, worth checking out www.mionet.com

Before I just used Remote Desktop that is built into Windows but this is extremely easy and the person can see what you're doing while you're doing it.

Both you and the person you want to connect to have to install Crossloop and then they give you the access code from their machine. You type in that code into Crossloop and it will connect. It even worked great when the person I was connecting to and myself were both behind routers.

Yes, this is free.

Thanks for the links Ryan.

Which one did you use? And how exactly does this work?

Are they free.

I don't have anyone to test this out with yet...

I actually wasn't looking for a solution but one of my friends told me about this. Now that I know about it I'll probably be using it all of the time.

Thanks for this info. I was looking for a free or low cost solution since occasionally, I'm asked to solve computer problems for others. I've used LogMeIn Free but it can be a pain to get help a non-techie install and configure the program. :D
