This is an interesting trend developing, being able to create a website without sophisticated knowledge of code. Power to the common people! I love it.

Sorry Ashley,
In fact in the stats, it was reported from cybernetnews. So, it's a visitor who came with the direct link I put in my comment. During sept 18th and today, there are in fact 22 visitors who came using this link. Thanks Cybernet!
Ashley, about the site: it's a site in French about the village and area I live when I'm in France. I made it for the only pleasure to create smthng on the web. Hope you'll appreciate some of the things in it.

Thanks for checking home page!</blockquote></div>
Sorry jacques, wasn't Ryan or I. I didn't see your comment until now but will go check it out in just a minute. Zion is north of Chicago, we are West of the city.

I would have come up as Mac OS X, Firefox 3...

Have you ever heard of "freewebs"? Its site builder is more complete than Syntha, maybe just a little bit more difficult to deal with. It has all of the features you say + links (int./ext.) at all levels, about 49 templates to multiply with their color scheme, a deep file uploader and manager, ability to insert a Wiki in your site (with its own subpages), an "apps" subsite which allows to build a photo-gallery, an event-related calendar with links, a superb blog, a forum, page effects, ability to switch from site builder to classic html editor from home (then you upload your new pages through ftp). And i forget a lot. 17$ year to register a direct domain name and publish your site. 49$ to get plenty of space. You then submit a sitemap xml file easy to do to google, and some 48h later google bot sees your site and you get referenced. If you accept to pay a premium account (so 17$ to 120$ a year), you'll deal with a jewel. Favicon, site web 2.0 logo, all is here. I handle three sites with Freewebs very easily. Stats in depth of visitors through Clicky and Google.
URL = http://freewebs.com
Could you tell what you think of it please Ashley?
Here the adress of my first site about my village as an example of what can be done: http://www.portepuymorens.com

Really, it is so easy to do with SynthaSite! I think the interface is great as well, so be sure to report back on it if you ended up giving it a try to let everybody know what you think!
