Your last post was on October 27th. It is now November 19th. I have, as you have suggested, been keeping my eyes open. Nothing seems to be happening. Have I missed something, or am I just dumb?

Fun/enjoyment should always be the leading factor for personal blogs imo.. so if this step increases that – you took the right decision!!

I understand your decision, but I have to say that I found the changelog the most valuable aspect of your downloads overview. You can find a list of updated software elsewhere, I think the changelogs were your differentiator.

I just don’t have the time to hunt down the changelogs anymore unfortunately. Doing a single Daily Downloads article would take upwards of 1 to 2 hours since I’d often times look through the changelogs to see if there was anything specific worth noting.

I always found the Skype changelog by doing a Google search… I still don’t know how to actually get to it from their site.

Sometimes I think that people forget this is a personal blog and not something I’m pursuing full time anymore. Unfortunately I don’t have 10-hours a day to dedicate to the site anymore, and it’s even more difficult to find a few hours here and there during the week to write.

Plus you almost make it sound like I’m forcing you to subscribe. I want our readers to love the content we write, and in order for that to happen I need to write about the things I love. While doing the Daily Downloads was always fun, it takes way too much time to compose in the few hours I have to dedicate to the site each week.

But yeah, I often find myself hunting for them as well, as I don’t want to upgrade without having a good reason to do it (if the application works fine as it is).
