I've never actually tinkered with the Office COM addins. I'll have to go looking around to see if there's a central site that has a bunch. Then I could do a similar article for Microsoft Office.

Nice post. I’m relieved that MS Office has also has such comprehensive COM addin functionality since Office 97….it’s these addons which extend the value of a software…and the primary reason I don’t use IE.
