Did you heard about a program name wine for linux.. It can run Windows applications in linux.. Install the latest update for wine and then install some antivirus such as avast 5 (I tried its working) and then check for virus in it…

Hi,

I am looking for a good free av portable programme that I can run from a pendrive.

It must run under UBUBNTU.

I run UBUNTU as LiveCD from the CD drive.

If Windows Vista gets corrupted, I would like to use UBUNTU + AV programme to clean up the c drive.

Any suggestions?

i had to Agree…that i try ClamAV earlier on but lately the AV is now crap…totaly slow and didnt detect most of the virus….

I Recomend that..

..it better to download free antivir virus and install in (1)C: folder (2)then update it then (3)copy it to ur PENDRIVE and (4)run manualy the Scanner exe.. to clean pos infection virus..on the computer
