those of you who dont like the alt tab for wutever reason may be interested in VistaSwitcher, its an alternative that replaces the regular alt tab with one that doesnt include the desktop as a choice and it has 3 different styles of preview options, no preview just a list, window preview, and desktop preview. So if u have a problem with alt tab for any reason give i vista switcher a try, i just added it myself and i can already see the improvements, and theres still some features i havent messed with yet

Anyone aware of a way to get the XP-style icons & large text box with window title back in Alt-Tab? It’s WAY faster to switch between numerous Word documents (for example) with just icons rather than getting distracted trying to figure out what the screen should look like if the window you want is in front.

I understand you can do this by turning off Aero (which I’ve done) but I don’t hate the translucent window borders, just the stupid icons in alt_tab.

Dunno.

Seams like DPI affects this so if you changed your dpi you may have to manually find the right setting. 215 workd for me with my DPI set to 110 with a 1920×1200

Unfortunately adjusting how many appear on each row is not possible.

Okay, so with the way BottomMarginPx is set in this reg file, when I alt+tab, the highlight touches said bottom margin and looks weird. I changed said data from 0000000a to 00000014 (decimal 10->20). Now, the bottom margin is spaced out in a more proper fashion. My res is 1680×1050.
