Laschiec: Thanks for the Ctrl + Alt + L tips. Duh, I’ve been searching for some sort of URL grabber software to quickly obtain links from a page. Didn’t know that it has already been implemented in Opera.

As a matter personal preference and to organize better, I prefer Mozilla to ask me where I am going to put the file.

Ah, I always forget about Ctrl + Click in Opera, thanks for reminding me. I didn’t know about the Firefox shortcut, it’s good to know for when I’m using it.

My favourite downloading in Opera is mass downloading. You go to “Tools” -> “Links” or press Ctrl + Alt + L, and you get a rundown of all the links present in the active tab. Then you filter by whatever string you want, and go to the button “Save” -> “Save to Download Folder”, et voilà, several files downloading in parallel, extremely handy for sites with direct links to files.

It’s also very useful for those pages that show various shots of a program, with it you open as many tabs as images are in the blink of an eye.

Actually, that's not true for me. I download to the desktop because it forces me to organize the files elsewhere in order to keep my desktop clean.
