And they say the PS3 is expensive …then again, it doesn’t come with a 100″ TV . The only thing that could make this better is input ports so you can use your new consoles along with the old! That, Nintendo games, and the ability to expand the library would make this a steal .

That is when the “cooler” game systems were coming out and you thought that you would never want to play those old things. Then years later when video game systems cost more than PC’s we still want our old Atari.

I still have a Dreamcast with every Nintendo game on one CD. I can’t remember how it works because I use my modded Xbox to play the Nintendo games now but I think Dreamcast ran Windows CE or something, so there was an emulator CD that I stuck in and it just worked. On my modded Xbox I have Atari, Nintendo, SNES, N64, and Playstation One games. Gotta love “homebrew backwards compatibility”.

I wish I knew how many games we had with the Atari 2600. We had a really nice case that the console sat on top and could store controls, cartridges, etc below and even had a dust cover. We ended up selling everything to a friend of mine back in ‘94 for about $50. Another one of those what the h*ll was I thinking!

Now this is something I would buy! I had an Atari 2600 with 70 games. Had all the consoles through N64. Now I just have an Xbox 360 that I have not played in about 4 months.

Now, I just need to find $5000!

Oh man Atari 2600! Now that (along with Pac Man & Asterodies) brings back memories! I even had paperboy, but I think that was on the Commodore 64. Thanks for the great trip down Memory Lane!
