I used the "Backup Gmail to Another Gmail Account" option and it seems to go well (so far).BTW, there is one thing I find odd is when I set up the POP fetching, also as shown in the screenshot above, I cannot tick the box "Leave a copy of retrieved messages on the server". This kind of "scares" me because I dont know if that means all my emails will deleted from the server, and also my main account, after they are moved to the backup account? I tried it anyway and it turns out not, my emails are still kept in the old account :-) I know this is an old post, but it really helps me so just wanna say thanks. I figured that was a great idea since Yahoo now has unlimited storage.Imagine my surprise when I got a PHONE CALL from PayPal begging me to turn off the forwarding! Apparently this was causing some kind of problem at their end (I'm still not clear on what exactly the problem was -- maybe a mail loop?). It must have been a non-trivial problem because PayPal called me repeatedly (both at home and at work) until they tracked me down. I had my Gmail forwarding everything to Yahoo for a while. I figured that was a great idea since Yahoo now has unlimited storage.
