Yeah, I mentioned that in the article. They did say that they will get around to upgrading your account to unlimited storage at some point though.

Iâ€™m not sure how they compare, but if they donâ€™t offer syncing or downloads that seems to be a pretty big drawback to me.

I tried to sign-up yesterday, but the site just error’d out (never a good sign). I’m trying again today. The sync tool looks promising, though MediaMaster has the advantage of no software install. The 1GB vs. Unlimited storage is completely bush league though. You have to read in the small print that there are only a limited number of free unlimited accounts every day.

I wondered the same things, but there are a lot of music services starting up like this. They say that the free accounts have ads, but I failed to see any (and I don't use any sort of ad blocking software). I didn't look that deeply into it, but maybe they try to sell songs to you?

It is either unlimited or 1GB. They offer a limited amount of unlimited accounts each day, and all others are 1GB.

Vibestreamer( [vibestreamer.com] ) does pretty much the same for me, ofcourse you’ll need your own server for that. But its an easy install, 2 minutes and you’re off.
Synchronisation is ofcourse up to yourself, but that’s no problem locally
