Max wrote:
I wish Google’s built-in calculator did conversions between time zones.

It kind of does... you can enter "time in chicago" and it will tell you the current time there. It just can't do a conversion from one time to another unfortunately.

david wrote:
http://unitconversion.org/

That one takes a few too many clicks in my opinion.

x wrote:
Another online unit converter: http://people.virginia.edu/~rm.....nvert.html

Seems nice, but I think it would take a little while to figure out what section you need to be at on the page. They need to condense the layout a bit.

That's a good one! I like how it relates that weight to common everyday items as well. That definitely deserves an article... nice find.

www.onlineconversion.com

They claim "Over 5,000 units, and 50,000 conversions," but the one I keep going back to time & time again is this one:
www.onlineconversion.com/percentcalc.htm
(For problems like: "What is 34% of X," or "77 is 23% of Y")

Google has made all standalone unit converters obsolete - at least for my needs.

A recent favorite that, to my delight, worked...

Have you guys ever come across a time converter that's really easy to use like these converters? Like if I want to convert 6pm UTC to EST, I have to look up a chart online, and then manually do the conversion. I'm never 100% sure if I got it right, and always second-guess myself (partly because it gets confusing applying daylight savings time across time zones).

I wish Google's built-in calculator did conversions between time zones.
