Fun Friday

When you spend several hours a day looking at a computer screen (or two or three), the space you’re working in can make quite a difference. Today we thought it would be fun to take a look at some of the computer set-ups that people have out there. Most involve multiple monitors and some even involve multiple operating systems. Does your work space look anything like these?

  1. now that’s funny..
guys over there who hates Vista will like this pic of Bill himself while he is using XP ( considering this pic is not more than year and half old ) :)

  2. Oh my! Workspace 9 looks like a work-torture-machine, out of some evil employer’s handbook… work or I won’t free you! :(

  3. ooops sorry I meant workspace 8 in the comment above :?

I do believe the image was from pre-Vista days…

  5. Sarah, I think you actually did mean work space 9 ;)

Then you have #1 with the old Macintosh computer sitting on the end. Haven’t seen or used one of those days since 1997 when I was in college.

Thanks for pointing that one out, I hadn’t noticed it! I have worked on such an old Macintosh, must be like 18 years ago or so. My first day at work there is etched in my brains: “here’s your work space, here’s your computer, you’ll figure it out”. Ahem, sure did!

Can’t help drooling over some of these pictures though, especially #7.

  9. So, looking at my photo stats in flickr, I see that cybernetnews.com has taken a photo from my photostream!

I follow the link and I get here.

My workstation is workstation 6, by the way, but kind of an old shot.

…would’ve been nice if yall asked first :P

  10. haha, no harm done though. Ya linked back, I linked to. lol, so, thanks for thinking I got a crazy workstation :P :D

We are always very good about linking to the source when we use public photos. In this situation we gave proper credit for each photo and under your photo we did include a link to your Flickr page (see where it says “source”). If you would like us to remove it, we certainly do not have a problem doing so.

  12. No no!! It’s all okay!! ;) I was kidding, is all, haha!

    I saw the “source” link.

S’all good, no worries :) . Also, thanks for thinking I got a crazy workspace
