We only post the updates on the weekdays, and the problem with Opera is that they typically post the snapshot on Friday afternoon. Since we don&#039;t post the Daily Downloads on Saturday or Sunday the snapshot update won&#039;t appear until Monday&#039;s Daily Downloads. Sorry, but there&#039;s nothing that we can really do without adjusting the Daily Downloads schedule. 

And our goal with the Daily Downloads is not to make people aware of the downloads as soon as they become available. If people want fast notifications they will subscribe to the various download sites and developer blogs, such as the Opera Desktop Team blog in your example. Instead what we want to do is give the more casual user (who normally don&#039;t follow updates) an easy way to track the software they use.
