WinAmp notified me of an update as soon as I launched it today. Looks like they added more crap…err..features I’ll never use.
Yeah, it continues to become a heavyweight media player. That’s why I’m starting to like Foobar2000 more.
I’ll have to look into that one. Ya know off hand if it works with FoxyTunes?
ETA: Just checked FoxyTunes and it is supported. I’ll take a look when I get back.
Yup, it does indeed work. It’s a nice little player. All of their new releases focus on things that are actually useful as opposed to some of the new things Winamp adds. There’s also the open source Songbird that is based on the Mozilla engine, but I don’t think that works with FoxyTunes.
I had looked at Songbird, but didn’t care for it.
