The Bios does not read the devices that are plugged into the USB ports. I've had the same message on three of my boxes in the past while trying to repair/restore/slap sense into a XP crash. Always works just fine as soon as I plug an old PS/2 corded keyboard and mouse into the machine.Of course I am not that bright and I just got off of a nice 16 hour day so I may be just a lucky idiot that had that work for him.
