If you're already using a desktop feed reader this is a natural extension that makes reading some of them a lot nicer since you see the comic and nothing else. I can only see 2 reasons to use this: you want to save every comic you read, or you don't like RSS feeds that force you to go to their website to view the comic.I have only found one comic that doesn't use rss so far, so that's how I read webcomics.
