Opera 9.1 Fraud Warning


The Opera Desktop Team just posted an early build of Opera 9.1 that has the built-in Fraud Protection implemented. I went ahead and downloaded it to give it a try and it looks pretty nice so far. To test out the fraud protection you can refer to Google’s blacklist that I have posted here. Remember that most of the sites in that file are REAL phishing sites so be careful with your information.

They say that there is still some work that needs to be done before the phishing protection is fully functional but I think it is still better to be using this test build than to be using a build without the fraud protection. It has also been a month since their last weekly release of Opera so this build has quite a long changelog available.
