AccuRadio and AccuTunes is really a great site for listening to internet radio. But I prefered the variety of radios that offers sites as (accuRadio included):

*) Radiobeta: [radiobeta.com]

*) Shoutcast: shoutcast.com

*) Live 365: Live365.com

There you can listen to many radios all around the world (internet and local radios!).

Surprisingly there are several good ones out there but for some of them, it's a matter of finding them because they aren't as well-known as the others.

Ironically, it works fine in Firefox 3 Beta(!) 5. Go figure.

As I said as “anonymous” it didn’t work in FF 2.0.0.14. Tried in IE 7.x with same results, although it behaved a bit differently up until the last screen, but then wouldn’t open a player. Perhaps relative to ActiveX settings?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t AccuTunes (accutunes.accuradio.com) just another interface for AccuRadio (accuradio.com)?

By the way, AccuRadio.com also works on the iPhone!

I just tried AccuTunes Internet Radio and worked as expected. I selected Country Music--->Women of Country and listened to a soothing song dubbed, "If Headaches Had Wings" by Rhonda Vincent. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.14. It also works well with Flock, the social Web browser. The quality of the sound is high above average.

And after all that, the site doesn’t work with Firefox 2.0.0.14, or else it’s down this afternoon. Click a genre which opens a new window entitled “untitled document” for the tab title where you select a channel. Click on a channel and nothing happens except it reads “javascript in FF’s status bar and when the mouse pointer is pulled away from the channel title it changes to read “done.” And javascript is turned on!

Furthermore their FAQ site won’t open, so sent an email to feedback@accuradio.com
