They definitely needed to break things down like this, and I’m glad to see them do it in an easy-to-understand way. Now if only they could find a way to better filter out the scams that are constantly on there.

I’m very happy to see eBay improve on this crucial area. On eBay, you live by your reputation. The more descriptive information and transparency (without going overboard) the better.

I think typically if there was a problem with any one of those areas, people point it out in the feedback anyways. For example, I’ve seen plenty of times where people have left positive feedback like “Item as described, but slow shipping.” This will be a much better way for people to rate sellers on all of the areas that are so important. I think this change was long over-due.

OMG, they actually listened to their users for once instead of just sending the normal canned message and telling me their system is fine. I’ve complained so many times about the feedback system being inadequate.

I think this 2.0 is great. It will really allow buyers to see how good a seller is. It seems this way a buyer can be more honest and not worry about getting bad feedback in return. This can only help the Ebay community, and cut down on fraud.

This arrived in the UK a couple of days ago. I like the ‘Detailed Seller Ratings’ section but I’m not sure about the addition of the name of the purchased item and price. I think that clutters up the feedback page.
