Internet Explorer 7 is getting released today, as announced last week, and it looks like Yahoo’s version is already made available. Of course when you install this version it does come with the Yahoo toolbar and that kind of stuff.
Neowin, however, got smart and noticed how you can download Yahoo’s IE 7 and install it without the extras. All you have to do is extract the setup file using WinRAR (or a similar program) and execute the IE7-Setup.exe file. If this sounds like too much work then I will be posting later when Microsoft actually makes the regular IE 7 available.

Hey Ryan, have you installed the final version on Vista? Does it work? Thanks!
(I’m not home right now but curious)
Oops, this version is only available for XP. I’m sure Microsoft will be providing either an update or a download for Vista users.
Crazy, thanks for the info. I’ll be waiting for the Vista update for sure.
wow, this is some big news.
how come it is already available through yahoo, while microsoft still have ie7 rc in their site (at the time of writing this).
wasn’t this version suppose to be for WGA users only?
yes it is Jack. when u start to install, it asks to validate ur copy of the OS.
This page: [downloads.yahoo.com]
clearly tells that it is “Internet Explorer 7 (BETA)”.
Several sites have confirmed that Yahoo’s version is not the Beta version though so I would guess that the page just hasn’t been updated.
I just noticed that MajorGeeks [majorgeeks.com] but they don’t have a link to the source that they got it from. My guess is they deleted some things from the Yahoo version.
It is really funny that Yahoo! released the IE7 before Microsoft
