There has been some oh 60 or so checkins to tothe Mozilla_1_8 Branch since you posted saying a hourly Tinderbox build should be close to the Alpha 2 release when that is not the case. There was a restore session before but sadly it um caused crashes left clicking links with target=_blank. It was nice though as you had the option to resume where you left off when restarted and still be logged on forum and tabs be as if you never had a crash in first place.

Not Official Yet.
[ftp.mozilla.org]

Ok now the Bon Echo 2.0 alpha 2 is coming. Mostly only serious regressions are fixed during the freeze (leaks/crashes/security). Easily more than a dozen checkins happend since you posted this and now.Again your linking to Tinderbox ,, why? use http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-mozilla1.8/What the Tinderbox is as it is not for casual Firefox users. http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs/Tinderbox

it is not a %100 freeze as there is still checkins being landed.
