Funny, because if you are a website publisher like myself, it is against their AdSense policy to have the "Install Firefox with Google Toolbar" only display for people with MSIE browsers.

I would say that by putting a link on their homepage to download Firefox is a good representation of supporting a company, especially since only their own products have been on the homepage.

Also, Google allows web site publishers to put links on their pages to download Firefox, and for every person you get to install Firefox from that link they give you $1.00. This may not seem like much but I would definitely consider it a sign of support.

What does it mean for a web page to "support Firefox"? I know Google gave some money to the Firefox project, but it's a web page - and a deceptively simple one, at that. It should work on any browser from lynx through mosaic and straight on up.
