I noticed that a few weeks ago actually. I would assume when the domain was transferred over Mozilla said that they would leave a link to their site for a few years to give enough time for Google and other search engines to move the rankings over for the company. I am really impressed that the domain was given to Mozilla in the first place because most people would get greedy and put up a site that was all ads.

Wow! At last, Mozilla own the whole FIREFOX.COM domain! :)
Earlier, it was a page with 2 links: GetFirefox.com and Firefox.Co.Uk
Take a look: http://web.archive.org/web/20060518011254/www.firefox.com/
Mozilla registered GetFirefox.com just because Firefox.com was already registered.
So, big thanks to "Firefox Ltd.", who gave Mozilla this domain. :D
