Portable Firefox is pretty much just a "shortcut" to execute the Firefox files. My guide is becoming a little out-dated but you can still refer to it on how to upgrade it yourself using any version of Portable Firefox (I'm not sure if I have told you about it already).

Ryan wrote:
Yes, if you want to take advantage of the new features you will have to download this version of portable Firefox and replace the files accordingly.

i just notice that the file of 1.5.07 is from September 26, but the one of beta 2 is from August 31. so i need to dl the 1.5.0.7 version, and put its file over the beta 2 folder? won't it change it to 1.5?

how do all this apply to ppl who downloaded ur version of portable firefox 2 beta 2, which has been updated it with nightly since then?

should i just download it from the portapps site (they put a link to ff2b2 there) and overwrite the files? i guess it means all the nightlies will have 2 b downloaded again, but that the profile will be saved.
thanks.
