Hey Ryan,

Thanks for the in-depth review. Your feedback will be passed on to the team. As we're still in QA we haven't seen many reviews of 0.8 yet, so it was very informative to read yours.

@Rory: We've gone through a number of growing pains in the last year, but we have a new CEO (Shawn Hardin) onboard who set an ambitious release schedule for us in January...and we're still on schedule. Expect to see 0.9 (same thing as the 0.8 that Ryan reviewed here) in 6-8 weeks and 1.0 later this year.

I tried playing around to see what I could come up with, and I got nothing. Sorry.

Can you offer any reassurance that I'm over-reacting?</blockquote></div>
In a way I'm the same way. It has been really slow to progress which worries me that it will always be lagging behind the latest version of Firefox. However, it looks like they are putting a lot of time into developing an interface that is easy-to-use so that even novice users will be able to understand it. When Flock 0.8 makes its way out I would say that it is as good as a version 1.0 release.

That's what I was thinking. They have done a great job puting together a skin that not only looks good but is also functional. Kudos to the design team.

Their launch was pretty hyped, but that was still in the very early stages. I think the next version that makes its way out the door will be even bigger in terms of the hype it gets, and this time around it won't be nearly as disappointing.
