I am not a fan of this extension. It keeps open/activate WinAmp, when I want to load new songs for example. So: if it's WinAmp it use, why not use WinAmp itself...?

Because I don't want have to switch away from my Firefox to control my WinAmp.

I just have my WinAmp bar docked to the top of the screen and set to always on-top – but this does seem quite cool. Still, I prefer a control method that’s always usable, even when FF is closed.

Probably because a lot of people use software other than WMP, such as WinAmp. I am starting to love the new Windows Media Player 11 since that is what I have been using in Vista though.

Why not just put the WMP toolbar in the Win XP system taskbar? This does look AWESOME and i may eventually get it
