At the end of July, the Gmail Team over at Google put out a request to Gmail fans asking them to put their video-making skills to good use. They wanted to “stitch together a bunch of video clips that all share one element: someone hands the Gmail M-velope in from the left of the screen, and hands it off to the right.” The purpose of stitching all these videos together was to act as a symbol of how email connects people from all over the world.
It’s been over a month since they asked for help from people around the world, and the final product is done. It’s actually kinda cool, and people from more than 65 countries submitted videos! I’ll include the video below, but first is an image that plots all the locations that they received videos from. It’s amazing how many people got involved!
