I'm skeptical about how much trouble I would go through to find the owner, but I wouldn't keep the camera either. At the very least I would donate it to a charity.

The camera story is a true gem. Hopefully there are some people out there who get inspired by this one. Sometimes it feels like there is only a small number of honest persons left.

Anyway, I'd like to do such detective work - so... if anybody would please drop her/his camera? ;)

@Ryan:

This is an excellent story about human values. It should be read in every classroom to show young kids how human values work.

What this person did is really extra-ordinary. I wonder if I would have the determination to keep the search going until I found the owner of the camera.

Great post!
