I wouldn’t be too concerned with the short-comings. Google has a “release early – release often” development philosophy. So it’s likely they will beef-up the PDF capabilities in the near future.

I’m not sure if this is something they’ll really spend a lot of time on though. I think this is supposed to be a simplistic PDF viewer, and so I doubt they will be adding a lot of features to it. Hopefully they prove me wrong.
