I have Google Apps Standard Edition (free version). I just downloaded the Email Uploader and it logged in and seems to be working fine. I’ll update when it is finished.

It does not work at my site. I found this link [code.google.com] that google say it not work with free version

This is great news for the developers at Gmail, this means a lot more people will find it very easy to move to Gmail.

I haven’t tried that app yet but now that I know it works well I’m probably play around with it very soon.

Gmail is still the underdog when compared to Hotmail and Yahoo, so anything they can do to entice more people to try Gmail out will help them take a larger portion of the market.

I have Google Apps Standard Edition as well and it seems to be working just fine. This is a great application and I am happy to be able to send these old emails to my Google account.
